5 Shape Inspired Confidence Hacks For Parents And Children
Circles 🔘
Surround yourself and your family with people who inspire, challenge, uplift, listen, make you laugh and love you for who you are.
Square ⏹
It’s cool to be square. Geek out on what you are passionate about. It might be a hobby, music, art, comedy, science, Thor….. the choice is yours. Find your passion and study it. You are the first role model for your children. Show them a life worth living.
Triangle 🚩
Strong base. Make sure you are keeping self-care a priority as when we are healthy in mind and body things fall into place more easily with the family. Yoga keeps me balanced, a reset button every time I roll out the mat. For my husband it’s all about the bike. Build self-care routines into your family structure for the week.
Diamond 💎
Diamonds in the sky. Take time to marvel at nature, the stars in the sky, the different most wonderful types of clouds, the crunch of the snow underfoot. Follow nature’s rhythms, she is a marvellous guide.
Splats 💥
Life is messy, we make mistakes, fail and get back up again and again. Tough things happen. It’s how we deal with events that can make us stronger. Be reflective, creative, playful and connect to your breath. Learn the practice of Pranayama. Breath control is amazing medicine.
Remembering the lighter side of life when things are rough. Having the ability to laugh at ourselves helps us to be resilient. Laughing releases cortisol which makes us feel good. Tap into your inner guidance through meditation. It’s not easy when you first try but like everything the more you practice the better you get. There are so many ways to meditate and you have to find the one that resonates with you.
