15 Things I Would Have Done With More Self Belief

With More Self BeliefWhat would you have done with more confidence and self belief?  Here’s what some of my friends said:

  1. Trusted my intelligence more and would have had a better idea of what I was capable of in terms of career.
  2. Oh relationships! I wouldn’t have tolerated some of the ways I was treated by partners and would have looked for different types of partners.
  3. Applied for jobs which I thought were beyond my reach.
  4. I am not sure that outcomes would have been different, but attitudes certainly would have. The amount of time spent in advance preparing for a confrontation or situation would have been minimised.
  5. Progressed more smoothly in work and in relationships, suffered less anxiety.
  6. Stopped worrying so much about events, circumstances, people’s opinions of me.
  7. Done more public speaking.
  8. Put myself out there more.
  9. From a work perspective, probably to gain more recognition in my job.
  10. Asked for a pay rise and asked more often!
  11. Learnt to drive earlier.
  12. Enjoyed meeting people more.
  13. In school, I would have performed with higher grades.
  14. Worn different clothes and would have been more comfortable with my body.
  15. Had the conviction to stand by my decisions more and be less influenced by others.
