Tell Us A Little About Your Background First

I was born in South London, and spent most of my career working in corporate jobs in London. I married young and had my son aged 29.  By then I had experienced several car crashes, and was really suffering with chronic illness, depression and physical pain.

At this point I was working as a pilates teacher and hands on healer alongside being a mother. I began actively exploring personal development and spirituality as this really sparked a passion inside of me.

In 2005, I got divorced and decided to fly to Peru to begin healing and reinventing myself. Several years later, I began to work online as a spiritual mentor, my clients started calling me their ‘shaman’ –  and the rest is history. My business has flourished since then.

2019 Has Been A Great Year For You. What Has Been The Highlight?

You’re right, last year was a great year for me business wise! The highlight of last year was hitting 6 figures in terms of revenue from my business. It took a lot of dedication, passion and hard work to get there, so I’m incredibly proud of myself.

Another highlight of the year was standing on stage, holding over 100 people in trance on a shamanic journey that became the talking point of the event I was speaking at.

What Are Your Tips For Setting Up Your Own Business?

Listen to your intuition, believe in yourself, never give up, and have fun. Believing in yourself is the most important by far, but it can be extremely challenging for some people due to imposter syndrome.

I really believe that self belief is the key to success. You can’t expect anybody else to believe in you if you don’t believe in yourself. A lack of self belief will not allow you to take chances, be assertive and have a positive impact.

What Have Been The Challenges?

One of my biggest fears when starting my business was my own fear of being ridiculed. I have since worked on this and learned to embrace my own originality.

How Do You Build Your Own Confidence?

My confidence is best built through inner energy work, and a practice called shamanic journeying. Just like meditation, Shamanic Journeying is a tool for spiritual growth. I use it for self healing, to work through any issues I am having with my self confidence, and to inspire me to strive for more in life.

How Do You Balance Both Work And Life?

I believe life and work are the same, they come together for me. Many people oppose working, but I am lucky enough to have been able to pursue exactly what I want to do. My purpose is to share my message and to experience all life has to offer.

What Does 2020 Hold For You?

More of the same! I enjoy my work and wouldn’t want to do anything else, so I am happy continuing to grow my business. This year we’re facing an international pandemic which will be tough to navigate, but I’m enjoying the challenge of leading my clients through it.
